About the Artists

Danielle Churchill

Artist behind RadicalSouls Collective

Born and raised on the Central Coast of California, artist Danielle Churchill started RadicalSouls Collective as a result of her unquenchable desire to create and her love of the ocean. Her work is inspired by the things she loves most- nature, travel, yoga, sacred geometry and fiber art. Her medium is locally sourced driftwood and her work ranges from knotted yarn wall hangings to driftwood plant hangers and hand painted pieces. She loves designing and creating driftwood art because she truly believes in the beauty and sacred energy of bringing nature into your personal space.

behind the scenes

Founder of RadicalSouls Collective, Danielle creates all of the driftwood tapestries available on the site by hand.  She recently expanded the brand to include a range of curated home decor items to compliment the aesthetic of her fiber art pieces.

Amsha Studio

Amsha is an ethically made fashion accessories and home goods company, using design and trade as a tool to train and employ artisans.

Amsha produces high quality home goods that are ethically made and create jobs for underserved artisans. They are a triple bottom line company and believe in doing well while doing good.

Your purchases help in their mission to create jobs for skilled artisans in East Africa.

Amsha Studio baskets are all woven by hand with sweetgrass and sisal. The Aftrican women grow their own sisal plants, strip and dye the fibers, and weave them into beautiful works of art.

 Mingled Goods

I believe that good things take time. Appreciation for the slow design process is another part of living with intention. Much like slowly stretching out of bed, smelling your morning coffee before taking the first sip, and stepping outside before the sun rises, to feel the crisp air against your cheek. It is part of living a life with purpose.

This is the woman I want to create for.

The woman who values the thought put into hand selecting wood that shows the perfect grain, who is enticed by the imperfect nature of block printing on warm, organic textiles, and who prefers that the hand formed clay beads are 'round-ish'. She appreciates that her new piece was shown care and love before it ever became a treasured part of her home.

I am humbled every time someone chooses to bring something I have crafted into their home and into their life.
